Connection mechanism: a component must be able to generate events or have other mechanisms that allow programmers to connect semantically.
Adopting component software does not need recompilation, source code and is not limited to a programming language. This process is called binary reuse because it is based on reuse at the interface level rather than at the source level. Although software components must follow a consistent interface, their internal implementation is completely automatic. Therefore, you can use process language and object-oriented language to create components.
Because component technology is developed based on object-oriented technology, similar to object-oriented design, they are all aimed at software reuse, are encapsulated code, but there are still great differences between them.
Parts are the basic elements of machine composition. Generally, the machine includes one or several transmission parts (such as electric motor, internal combustion engine, steam engine) which are used to receive external energy; the executive part (such as the cutter in the machine tool) which realizes the production function of the machine, transfers the motion and power of the prime mover to the transmission part (such as the gear and screw transmission mechanism in the machine tool).
